Safia Burkhonova brings sixth silver medal to Uzbek delegation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek athlete Safia Burkhonova has won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris.

In the women’s para athletics shot put competition, class F12, she achieved a result of 14.12 meters, earning her the silver medal.

Previously, Safia Burkhonova won a silver medal at the Rio 2016 Paralympics and a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

So far, Uzbekistan has won 18 medals at the Paris Paralympics: 8 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze awards.
