Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russian Railways (RZhD) has announced the extension of its discount for the transportation of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan. The press service of RZHD reported this news.

The company stated that a 50% discount on the transportation of fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will remain in effect until the end of 2025.

Additionally, RZhD has extended a 20.4% discount on transportation via refrigerated containers from the Moscow region station Selyatino to the stations of Sergeli and Jizzakh, passing through the border station of Kanisay, and in the opposite direction through the station of Ozinki.

The 50% discount on imports of fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to Russia using refrigerated rolling stock from "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari" and "Rohi Ohani Tojikiston" has been in place since January 1, 2021, and is renewed annually.
