Russia’s PKNM to deliver equipment to Uzbekistan for uranium mining
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Perm Oil Machine Engineering Company (PKNM) won a tender on production and will supply of 1,000 locks for uniting drilling pipes for Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK) of Uzbekistan.

The products of Russian firm will be used at mining uranium with use of method of underground leaching well. This technology allows to avoid concretion and damage land surface, terrace of empty ores and tailing pits.

Locks are used to unite drilling pipes into columns. Russian company said it develops safe locks, which can be unlocked easily in emergency situations.

The construct sum is 14.5 million rubles. Russian firm plans to deliver equipment to Uzbekistan by the end of August 2012.

PKNM said that it already delivered goods to NGMK. The sides has been cooperating since 2009.
