Russia’s GCE Group holds talks in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of GCE Group (Russia) completed a five-day visit to Tashkent on Friday, 26 November. The Russian company visited Uzbekistan on the invitation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and state inspection Sanoatkontehnazorat and representatives of oil and gas businesses in Uzbekistan.

Issues of developing of industrial security in Uzbekistan were discussed at the meeting of the director of GCE Group on Science Alexei Isakov and deputy head of state inspection Sanoatkontehnazorat Arif Yunusov.

Russia adopted the Federal Law No. 116 “On industrial security of dangerous production objects” in 1997 and Uzbekistan adopted similar law two years ago. Russian experience can be useful for Uzbekistan.

Isakov said that the Russian company is ready to render consulting assistance to inspection bodies and local companies, as well as project institutes.

GCE Group also set perspectives of cooperation with the LUKOIL Uzbekistan, operator of Russia’s LUKOIL, on ensuring industrial security at Koshkuduk oil field.

GCE Group signed a general protocol on cooperation till 2014 with the largest project institute of Uzbekistan UzLITIneftegaz.

Russian experts also participated at the first conference “Actual issues of industrial security in oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan”, which was organized by Uzbekneftegaz.
