During the meeting, the sides considered perspectives of joint cooperation on production of electronic power meters in Uzbekistan.

The association highly rated work of the Russian company on creation of joint activity in Uzbekistan on the base of Algorithm open joint stock company, which is part of Uzeltekhsanoat Association. The sides considered perspectives of creation new capacities in acceptable forms and terms for both sides.

At the meeting, the sides considered issues on current state of consumer markets for power meters in Uzbekistan and Central Asia as a whole.

Energomera was founded in January 1994, in the south of Russia in Stavropol. It is one of the largest producers of power meters both industrial and domestic purpose. The company covers 50% of the market in the CIS. Currently, Energomera has many plants, enterprises and scientific-research institutes in Russia.

After the talks, the sides agreed to continue further cooperation on production of electronic power systems and meters, as well as launching production of new meters at Algorithm OJSC in Tashkent.
