Russian President Emphasizes Importance of Alliance with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In his congratulatory message on the occasion of Uzbekistan’s Independence Day on 1 September, Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the active development of bilateral relations in the spirit of strategic partnership.

“The relations between our states are dynamically developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. Effective coordination of efforts has been established within the frameworks of the CIS, SCO, and other multilateral structures,” the message reads.

Putin expressed confidence that the countries will continue to comprehensively develop mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas, emphasizing that this fully serves the interests of the peoples of both nations and contributes to strengthening security and stability in Central Asia.
