Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 25 June, Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev visited the Coordination and Monitoring Center of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

This Center was opened in March of this year as part of the Strategy for the Development of the Public Security System of Uzbekistan and uses a unified information platform and digital technologies to manage processes related to public safety.

The Center’s staff demonstrated to the minister the modern technologies that allow for analyzing situations on the ground and assessing the effectiveness of the work of law enforcement officers. Special attention is paid to monitoring the activities of more than 10,000 preventive inspectors across six areas.

The Center also uses video communication for the remote training of preventive inspectors, traffic patrol officers, patrol-post officers, and probation service staff, which monitors those conditionally sentenced and released on parole.

Specialists simulate various scenarios of mass events to train colleagues in making correct decisions and responding promptly to emergency situations.
