Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, an Agreement on the supply of Russian gas to Uzbekistan, as well as a Road Map for preparing the republic’s gas transportation system and preparing for transportation, were signed.

The documents were signed by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov and the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee Alexey Miller with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodzhaev.

The export of Russian gas to Uzbekistan through the territory of Kazakhstan will begin in the fourth quarter of 2023.
