Russian Airlines to open flight to Karshi city

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Transport Company Rossiya (Russian Airlines) will open new regular flight from Saint Petersburg to Karshi city (Uzbekistan) on 1 June 2009.

The company said the direct flight to Karshi will be carried out each Tuesdays at 22:20 and return flight on Wednesdays at 05:25. The airline said it will use Airbus A319 aircrafts to conduct the flights.

The opening of flights to Karshi will expand opportunities for passangers, who fly to Uzbekistan, the airline said.
