Russia, Uzbekistan expand trade-economic relations – envoy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Dynamics of relations between Uzbekistan and Russia will help to growth of well-being of people of two countries in new 2011, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Uzbekistan Vladimir Tyurdenev said in his New Year congratulation.

Russian envoy congratulated people of Uzbekistan with coming new 2011 and Christmas holidays. He said that 2010 was observed with gradual development of the Russian-Uzbek interaction in all directions. He added that the political relations strengthened, first of all in high level.

Ambassador said bilateral dialogue was saturated with concrete deeds and filled with spirit of mutual respect and trust, firm mutual mood of gradual strengthening and developing strategic partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan, closer cooperation in international arena.

Tyurdenev said that the fifth anniversary of signing of the agreement on allied relations between Russia and Uzbekistan became memorable date in bilateral inter-governmental cooperation.

“Russia and Uzbekistan continued successfully expand trade-economic cooperation. Cultural-humanitarian relations also developed significantly in outgoing year,” the Russian ambassador said.

Envoy expressed his assurance that in new 2011, dynamics of relations between two states will promote growth of well-being of people of Russia and Uzbekistan and strengthen historic friendship.
