Russia is negotiating with more than 30 countries to resume air traffic.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Director of the Association of Tour Operators in the Field of Outbound Tourism "Tourpomosch", Vice President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Alexander Osaulenko said on Friday, Prime reports.

“Such negotiations are underway with over 30 countries. But, unfortunately, there are a number of points that affect the situation. These are sanitary standards and epidemiological conditions in the country where Russian tourists are planning to travel, parity,” he said.

The director of the association added that the role and possible behavior of a country plays a role in a situation of a sharp increase in cases of coronavirus.

“And one more important point that we have encountered, and Russia has already stated that it will not step on the same rake three times, and this is exactly how the authorities of this or that country will behave if there suddenly a certain an outbreak, because in March we saw a situation when our citizens were evicted from hotels unreasonably, were not allowed into airports unreasonably, Russian airlines were prohibited from arriving for export, and some other harsh conditions were imposed,” Osaulenko said.

He noted that negotiations on the resumption of air traffic are underway with Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia and other countries, primarily European ones.

Since August, Russia has begun to gradually resume air traffic with other countries. Currently, it is allowed to fly to Turkey, Great Britain, Tanzania, Switzerland, Egypt, UAE, Maldives, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan.
