The agreements were signed during today’s meeting of the intergovernmental council of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) in Moscow.
A member of the Russian delegation explained that nine documents that were signed today are aimed at the creation of a single trade policy with third parties.
Moreover, the documents provide for gradual transfer of responsibilities regarding the regulation of foreign trade from national governments to Customs Union commission. Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are expected to join the union in the future.
