According to the State Statistics Committee, trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan made up 2.667 billion in January-June 2010, which is up 19.1% year-on-year. At the same time, Uzbekistan’s exports comprised US$.1859 billion (US$1.247 billion in January-June 2009) in the reporting period, while import – US$807.8 million (US$991.9 million).

China was the second largest trade partner of Uzbekistan in the first half of 2010 with share of 8.3%. Bilateral trade turnover of Uzbekistan and China comprised US$818.7 million in January-June 2010, which is down by 29.9% year-on-year.

At the same time, Uzbekistan increased exports to China from 277.9 million in January-June 2009 to US$304.9 million in the first half of 2010. Import, in its turn, decreased from US$890.1 million to US$513.8 million in the considered period.

Kazakhstan occupied third place with share of 7.6%. Bilateral trade of these countries rose by 7.4% to US$748 million in January-June 2010. Exports of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan rose from US$312 million to US$385.1 million, while imports fell from US$384.5 million to US$362.9 million.

Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan made up US$9.825 billion in January-June 2010, which is down by 0.8% year-on-year.
