Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14-16 February 2019, at the invitation of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on tourism development, a film crew of the Russia 1 TV channel of the Russian Federation arrived in Khorezm region, the press service of the State Committee of Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan said.

For the success of the shooting of the upcoming release of the TV program “Secretly to the whole world”, which is led by popular actor Mark Bogatyrev, the staff of the department for development of tourism in Khorezm region assisted the creative team.

For two days the film crew got acquainted with the ancient Khorezm traditions and wedding ceremonies, and also captured the Kelin Salom ritual, one of the unique Khorezm traditions, the process of cooking national dishes, the art of chasing and miniatures, considered examples of Khorezm handicraft. In addition, the Nurullabaya Palace in Khiva and the monuments of the Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve got into the lens of the Russia 1 television channel.

In the process of filming, the creative team visited the house of a local resident, where they could experience the well-known hospitality of the Uzbek people. Sharing their impressions of the stay, the guests noted that hospitality, good neighborly relations and the sincere friendliness of Khorezm people are admirable.

The “Secret to the World” TV program, 18 minutes long, is aired on Russia 1 TV channel every Saturday morning.
