Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The rules for the certification of pharmaceutical products have passed state registration with the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

According to these Rules, certification of pharmaceutical products is carried out by accredited certification bodies.

For certification of pharmaceutical products, the applicant sends an application in electronic form and the documents attached to it to the certification bodies through the customs information system "Single Window".

Certification bodies, having considered the application within 2 days, make a decision on certification or give the applicant a reasoned conclusion about the refusal.

Certification is rejected in the following cases:

in case of incomplete provision of information in the application and (or) in case of incomplete submission of documents attached to the application;

upon discovery that the pharmaceutical product submitted for certification has not passed the state registration;

upon detection of a counterfeit pharmaceutical product submitted for certification.

Within 2 days from the date of the decision to conduct certification, identification and sampling are carried out with a visit to the place of storage of pharmaceutical products for certification.

The documents collected as a result of the certification of pharmaceutical products are submitted to an impartial employee of the certification body who did not participate in the certification of pharmaceutical products.

An impartial employee (technical committee) within 1 day reviews the documents collected based on the results of certification, and decides to issue a certificate of conformity or to refuse to issue it.
