The bank said in a statement that Royal Bank of Scotland O'zbekiston MB will issue 2,051,900 ordinary shares with nominal value of 5,848.55 soums each. Total volume of the issue will make up 12 billion soums.

The statement added that the shares will be placed on closed subscription among existing shareholders of the bank.

The bank added that the charter capital is increased through placement of additional shares due to capitalization of undistributed income for previous years at the size of 12 billion soums.

Royal Bank of Scotland O'zbekiston MB is subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc (RBS) in Uzbekistan.
