Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Aeroflot opened sales for Rossiya Airlines flights from St. Petersburg to Samarkand. As part of the expansion of the flight program to Uzbekistan, flights will be operated 3 times a week from 16 December.

Rossiya offers to make a trip to one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, using a direct flight from Pulkovo. Samarkand is famous for its great, richly decorated architectural monuments. Tourists will be able to appreciate the bright taste of national Uzbek cuisine and will not remain indifferent to the hospitality of local residents.

According to the schedule, flights on the St. Petersburg-Samarkand route will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flight FV6979 will depart Pulkovo at 8:00 and arrive in Samarkand at 15:00. Departure of the return flight FV6980 at 16:20, arrival at 19:20. Times are local for each airport.

Rossiya Airlines operates flights on the Krasnoyarsk-Tashkent route on Mondays and Fridays. Flights to the capital of Uzbekistan from the carrier's Siberian air transport hub are in high demand among transit passengers.
