Representatives of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan and its regional branches in Ferghana Valley (Andijan, Ferghana and Namangan), audit organizations working in Andijan region, Ferghana region and Namangan region, state and public organizations of these three regions, certified auditors and industrial enterprises participated at the event.

During the event, the participants discussed about role of audit in development of entrepreneurship activity in Uzbekistan, certification of auditors within the CIPA programme, training and retraining of skilled auditors, etc.

As of 1 May 2010, members of the Chamber of Auditors of Uzbekistan are 350 certified auditors and accountants and 58 audit organizations.

This year, the chamber has handed over 39 auditors of the organizations and three audit organizations received certificates of undergoing of external quality control. Eight more auditors received CAP international certificates.

The Chamber is member of the Eurasian Council of certified accountants and auditors and cooperates with professional organizations of auditors of the CIS.

The seminar also paid attentions n to certification of auditors, as well as development of the activity of regional audit organizations and public professional organizations.

At the end of the event, the CAP certificates have been handed over to auditors, working in Andijan, Ferghana and Namangan region. Active participants of the Audit Chamber also received testimonial certificates.
