Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held with a delegation led by the CEO of Riyadh Cable Group from Saudi Arabia to discuss prospects for jointly implementing major projects in Uzbekistan and cooperation with local electrical enterprises.

The meeting included Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov; the chairman of the “Uzeltekhsanoat” association, Mirziyod Yunusov; the deputy chairman of the association, Faridun Abdualimov; the CEO of Riyadh Cable Group, Borjan Milorad Boro Sehovach; and other representatives, including board member Ahmed Samer Hamdi Saadidin Al-Zaim.

The leadership of the foreign company was provided with detailed information about the current state of Uzbekistan’s electrical industry, development plans, and the opportunities being created.

"We see great potential for cooperation with Uzbekistan. You have a developed electrical industry, and we have the necessary technologies and experience. We are ready to invest in new projects and share our expertise with local companies," stated Borjan Milorad Boro Sehovach, CEO of Riyadh Cable Group.

Representatives of foreign companies will familiarize themselves with the activities of leading cable and conductor manufacturers in Uzbekistan to identify synergies and implement joint projects.

The visit of Riyadh Cable Group is a significant event for the development of Uzbekistan’s electrical industry, which will open up new opportunities for attracting foreign investments and jointly producing high-quality products.

Founded in 1984, Riyadh Cable Group has production facilities in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Sharjah (UAE), and Baghdad (Iraq), covering over 150 hectares. The company operates the largest high-voltage testing center in the Middle East and supplies ultra-high voltage cables of 220/380 (420) kV for several megaprojects in the region.
