Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today in Tel Aviv, a ceremony was held to sign a protocol between the aviation authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Israel on amending the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the State of Israel on air traffic" (Tashkent, 4 July 1994).

The document was signed by the Minister of Transport and Road Safety of the State of Israel Miri Regev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Israel Feruza Mahmudova.

The document envisages the removal of restrictions on the number of air carriers and destinations for air transportation between the two countries.
