Restrictions on electricity supply have been lifted in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Restrictions on electricity supply have been stopped in Uzbekistan since March 8, said the press secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Khasan Toshkhujaev.

On Sunday, 10 March, 238.9 million kWh of electricity was produced, which is 4% more than the daily plan.

Electricity consumption per day amounted to 223.4 million kWh, which exceeds the plan by 8%.

With the restoration of natural gas pressure and a return to normal patterns, the restrictions on electricity supply introduced on February 17 were lifted.

On Sunday, 13.4 million cubic meters of gas were sold through 1,325 of 1,517 gas filling stations in Uzbekistan. Sales volumes on 7, 8 and 9 March amounted to 14.9 million, 15 million and 15.6 million cubic meters, respectively.
