Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The management of Uzbekneftegaz held a working meeting with members of the delegation of Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd, who are on a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the course of these negotiations, the parties first of all considered the progress in the implementation of the agreements reached earlier and the issue of expanding bilateral cooperation. The importance of developing mutually beneficial trade and economic relations between companies was noted.

At the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospects for interaction between the Bukhara Oil Refinery and the production enterprises of PETRONAS Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd.

In addition, during the meeting, the prospects for cooperation between the Bukhara oil refinery and the production enterprises of the Petronas Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the possibility of establishing long-term cooperation in terms of importing crude oil to the refinery.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement on the joint preparation of a program for the supply of oil from Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023.
