Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11-13 July this year, an Uzbek delegation headed by the Director General of the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Kadirov visited the city of Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan).

The Uzbek delegation, which consisted of representatives of the Uzbekcosmos Agency and the State Unitary Enterprise Center for Space Monitoring and Geoinformation Technologies, visited JSC National Company Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary, as well as LLP Ghalam.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation was provided with detailed information about the working areas and laboratories of the SKTB, familiarized with the work of the Center with the space remote sensing system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the hall of the assembly and testing complex of spacecraft.

A meeting was also held, during which the Kazakh side was attended by the Chairman of the Aerospace Committee Oralmagambetov Baubek Zhetkergenovich, the Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary" Aimbetov Aidyn Akanovich and the company’s specialists.

Representatives of the Kazakh side clearly and in detail spoke about the services provided by remote sensing of the earth in various sectors of the economy, new products and developments, the processes of introducing space technologies, emerging problems and ways to solve them.

In turn, the Uzbek delegation spoke in detail about the ongoing work in our country regarding the introduction of remote sensing in various fields, results and future prospects.

As a result of the visit, it was determined that the parties would conduct consulting work and exchange of experience in the implementation of space technologies on an ongoing basis.
