Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 February, leading representatives of the jewelry industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt held three familiarizations with the activities of enterprises and two meetings as part of their visit to Uzbekistan.

In particular, in the first half of the day, Chairman of the Jewelery Committee of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ihab Wassef, founder of Kirmena Jewelery Mamdukh Abdalla Gabala, founder of King Gold Faizi Shaker and Professor of Helwan University Karam Mosaad Ahmed Mohamed Farag visited and got acquainted with the activities of Gold Moon Tashkent, Uzgold Jewelery and Silkway Jewelery Manufacture.

In the afternoon, meetings were held with the head of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, Obid Khakimov, as well as with the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov.

The visit of Egyptian specialists continues and on 28 February, the guests will visit the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine and the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, and on 1 March a trip to Bukhara region is planned, where they will meet with the regional khokim, local artisans and jewelers.
