Representatives of NAPP takes part in the PLUS-Forum “Digital Uzbekistan”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Prospective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vyacheslav Pak delivered a welcoming speech at the International PLUS Forum “Digital Uzbekistan”, organized with the support of the Central Bank, the National Agency for Prospective Projects and the Committee for the Development of Competition and consumer protection.

PLUS-Forum “Digital Uzbekistan” brought together representatives of government agencies, the banking sector and trade retail from the CIS countries, who gathered to discuss new promising projects, exchange experience and promote international cooperation in the field of economics and financial technology.

“We note with great pride that today Uzbekistan is one of the leaders in regulating the circulation of crypto-assets not only among the CIS countries, but also in the world as a whole. Our country has formed a regulatory, legal and institutional framework in this direction,” Vyacheslav Pak noted in his speech.

In Uzbekistan, progressive work is being carried out to develop the financial sector, including the capital market, where the Regulatory Sandbox has already been introduced, stock market indicators are growing, and the basis for issuing green bonds has been created.

I would also like to note the explosive growth of e-commerce. I think today many residents of the capital and regions cannot imagine their daily lives without various online services, marketplaces, aggregators of delivery and taxi orders, and streaming platforms.”

As part of the two-day PLUS Forum, panel sessions will be held at which issues of development of the capital market of Uzbekistan, microfinance, digitalization of banking business, transformation and development of IT infrastructure, Islamic finance and Islamic banking in Central Asian countries, etc. will be discussed.

More than 2 thousand representatives of government agencies and businesses from various countries are taking part in this event.
