Rental prices continue to rise in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to data from the Institute of Macroeconomic and Regional Studies, based on information from the OLX.uz platform, rental prices in Tashkent continue to increase.

In September, rent for apartments with average renovation rose by 2.8% due to increased demand, while prices for newly renovated units went up by 1.4%.

The most significant price increases were observed in the two-room (+3.4%) and three-room (+3.2%) apartment segments. One-room apartments saw a 2.4% rise, and four-room apartments increased by 2.1%.

The most affordable rental prices are found in the Sergeli and Almazar districts, where one-room apartments cost US$291 and US$306 per month, respectively, and two- to three-room units range from US$362 to US$426.

The Mirabad district remains the most expensive, with one-room apartments renting for US$358 and four-room units for US$721.

For two- and three-room apartments, the Yakkasaray district leads, with prices at US$460 and US$611, respectively.

Fully renovated one-room apartments saw a 3.1% price increase, while four-room units rose by 2.3%. Two-room apartments with complete renovation increased by 1.1%, while rents for renovated three-room apartments slightly declined (-0.9%).

The most affordable fully renovated apartments are available in the Sergeli district, with one-room units costing US$331, two-room units US$428, and three-room units US$506. In contrast, the most expensive area remains the Mirabad district, where rents reach US$474 for one-room and US$1,278 for four-room apartments.
