Regulation approved in Uzbekistan for inclusion and exclusion of intangible cultural heritage
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A resolution by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has approved the Administrative Regulation "Provision of Public Services for Inclusion in or Exclusion from the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage Samples."
The regulation establishes the procedure for providing public services through the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services (my.gov.uz) and Public Service Centers for individuals and legal entities, related to the inclusion or exclusion of intangible cultural heritage samples from national and local lists, as well as obtaining information about such changes in the lists.
The competent authority in this field is the Research Institute of Cultural Studies and Intangible Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture. According to the regulation:
Issues of inclusion in the national list or exclusion from it will be considered by the Scientific and Methodological Council.
Issues of inclusion in the local list or exclusion from it will be considered by an expert group.
Upon the review of inclusion or exclusion of intangible cultural heritage samples from the national and local lists, a certificate in the established form will be issued.
No fee will be charged for the provision of this public service.
