The event is aimed at establishing direct contacts of universities’ graduates and experience specialists with representatives of leading companies of Uzbekistan for further their employment.

The organizers said that it is expected that 200 companies and 7,000 job seekers will participate at the event.

Last year, 120 companies participated at the fair and presented over 500 vacancies. Among them were Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company, UNDP, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Nokia Siemens Networks Tashkent, General Motors Powertrain Uzbekistan, UzCarlsberg, Akfa Plast, Credit Standard Bank, Kapitalbank, Super iMax (EVO), UzKDB, Sasol Synfuels International, Denton Wilde Sapte, Ernst & Young, Huawei Tech. Investment Tashkent, Union Spacе, and others. Over 4,000 job seekers visited the fair and major part of them was people at the age between 19 and 35.

Taking into account popularity and efficiency of the event in Tashkent, the organizers adopted decision to cover all regions of Uzbekistan and hold online Job Fair from 26 to 30 March 2012.

The participation at the fair is free for job-seekers, but they should undergo preliminary registration at the website www.jobfair.uz.
