Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A regional branch of the Republican Center for Forensic Examination named after H. Suleymanova is set to be established in the Tashkent region.
This initiative is outlined in a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers titled “On Further Improvement of the Activities of the Republican Center for Forensic Examination named after H. Suleymanova under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
According to the document, the Tashkent regional branch will be housed in a building that meets national and international standards by June 1, 2026. The facility will be equipped with specialized furniture, modern computing systems, and other necessary resources. Additionally, it will be staffed with highly qualified professionals.
The Center will also feature a laboratory for analyzing consumer goods and drinking water. This laboratory will conduct tests to detect genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in products and water.
The resolution further outlines the gradual introduction of new types of forensic examinations across regional branches:
Navoi Region: By 1 October 2025, a laboratory for forensic examination of materials, objects, and forensic document analysis, as well as a department for forensic pathological examination, will become operational.
Karakalpakstan: By 1 November 2026, the branch will begin offering phonographic, fire investigation, and electrical forensic examinations.
Kashkadarya Region: By 1 December 2026, a laboratory for forensic examination of materials, objects, and forensic document analysis will be established.
This development aims to enhance forensic capabilities and expand the scope of services provided by the Republican Center across Uzbekistan.
