Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) suspended referee Sherzod Kasymov from any football activity for three years for participating in fixed matches.
The Ethics Committee of the UFA considered the case of the referee of FIFA and AFC Sherzod Kasymov.
Sherzod Kasymov was charged under Article 5.44 of the UFA Disciplinary Code. During the meeting, it was decided to suspend the referee from any football-related activity for a period of 3 (three) years for participating in a series of football matches in order to influence the match or its outcome.
The decision comes into force from the day of its official promulgation by the UFA.
