RCS Uzbekistan announces photo contest
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
The Red Crescent Society of Uzbekistan (RCS Uzbekistan) in cooperation with the regional office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Central Asia (ICRC) announced a photo contest title "Respect for the medical personnel, and the protection and proper use of the symbols of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.”
Citizens of Uzbekistan at the age of over 16 can participate at the contest. The contest is open for amateur and professional photographers, mass media representatives and others.
The photos should reflect important role of medicine and healthcare in rescuing life, especially in emergency situations, respect to employees of medical and healthcare system, as well as correct use of emblems of humanity.
The images should be submitted by 10 October 2012. The images will be used for exhibition, which will be organized by RCS Uzbekistan, ICRC and Health Ministry of Uzbekistan.
Images should be submitted to email uzb.rcs@gmail.com. Each participant can submit up to six images. The size of the image cannot exceed 5 Mb and should in jpeg or jpg format.
