Ravshan Sultankhodjayev appointed as head of Tashkent Police Department
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Colonel Ravshan Sultankhodjayev has been appointed as the head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD) of Tashkent, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A meeting was held at the ministry to discuss public safety measures and crime control in the capital.
According to the minister’s decree, Ravshan Sultankhodjayev, who previously served as the head of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs since August 2023, has now taken over as the chief of the Tashkent police.
It is worth noting that his predecessor, Aziz Tashpulotov, was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs, while former minister Pulat Bobojonov became Deputy Adviser to the President on personnel policy.
