The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) announced the list of the best referees of the world in 2014.
Ravshan Irmatov was included to the top five referees of the world in 2014, the IFFHS said.
Ravshan Irmatov was on the fifth place in IFFHS ranking. Nicola Rizzoli (Italy), Howard Webb (England), Felix Brych (Germany) and Björn Kuipers (Netherlands) were above the Uzbek referee.
In 2014, Irmatov refereed four matches at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and set the record on number of refereed matches. He was also names as the best Asian referee of 2014.
