Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Referee from Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov joined the expert referee commission (EJC) under the President of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
The 45-year-old referee received the FIFA referee category in 2003. He has repeatedly worked at major international competitions, including three world championships and the Olympic Games.
In 2013, he entered the top 10 best referees in the world according to the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. He ended his career in 2019.
Irmatov became the ninth member of the current composition of the EJC. In addition to him, the commission also includes the head of the refereeing department of the RFU Pavel Kamantsev, Sergey Zuev, Alexander Gvardis, Nikolai Ivanov, Sergey Fursa, Nikolai Levnikov, Oleg Sokolov and Eduard Maly.
