Ramzan Kadyrov responds to accusations of involvement in the shooting of a former Uzbek official’s car

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, has made a statement denying any involvement in the recent attack on Kamil Allamjonov, a former official of the Uzbek presidential administration.

In his Telegram channel, Kadyrov reported that several weeks ago, a car carrying the former official of presidential administration of Uzbekistan was fired upon. No passengers were injured, and one of the suspects has already been detained.

Despite the ongoing investigation, some pro-Western and opposition media outlets hastily linked the incident to a "Chechen trace," attempting to directly associate it with the head of Chechnya.

Kadyrov emphasized that he has no intention of responding to such "provocative rumors."

He expressed confidence that Uzbekistan’s media and law enforcement agencies are capable of handling the situation independently.

Additionally, Kadyrov highlighted the importance of the strong ties between the Chechen and Uzbek people, which are based on shared historical roots. He mentioned that Uzbekistan holds a special place in his heart, as his father, Akhmat-Khadzhi

Kadyrov, had great respect for the Uzbek people and their traditions.

Kadyrov described the circulating rumors as an attempt by "third parties" to destabilize relations between Chechnya and Uzbekistan.

"My respected brothers in Uzbekistan and I will definitely find out who is behind this provocation," he assured, adding that efforts to identify the organizers are already underway.

In Kadyrov’s view, such publications are part of political games, and he suggested that further attempts to sow discord between the two fraternal peoples may follow.
