The "Colors of blooming Shakhrisabz" art exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan has been opened at the Tashkent House of Photography, Jahon reported quoting the local agencies.

It has been organized by the Academy of Arts along with the Bureau of the Art Exhibitions of the Shakhrisabz District and district municipality.

The chairman at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan T.Kuziev said that at the moment the enormous work has been under way in the country o­n the renewal and further development of the world known unique Uzbek traditions and schools of fine arts, which have come o­n the stage in the native soil from the ancient times.

More than 200 paintings by Kashkadarya artists, which were displayed at the exhibition, reflect the wonderful nature of the flowering oasis, marvelous architectural monuments, portraits of the outstanding people, as well as the unique national traditions and customs.
