Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — By the end of 2024, JSC "Quartz" recorded a net loss of 141.6 billion soums, according to the company’s financial report.

The company's net revenue for the year amounted to 521.9 billion soums, down 1.6% from 2023. However, a significant increase in the cost of goods sold led to a sharp drop in gross profit—from 157.5 billion to 19.1 billion soums.

The net loss reached a record high for the company, soaring to 141.6 billion soums compared to 21.7 billion soums the previous year.

Long-term bank loans decreased from 302.7 billion to 195.3 billion soums over the year, while short-term liabilities grew by 125.7 billion soums, reaching 126.6 billion soums.

The company’s total assets declined by 6.8% year-on-year to 724.1 billion soums, while equity shrank by 37.4%, amounting to 237 billion soums.
