Quarantine measures toughened in the capital of Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On Monday, 15 March, the chief state sanitary doctor of Nur-Sultan Sarhat Beisenova signed a new decree on toughening restrictive and quarantine measures in the capital of Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports.

Residents and guests of the capital are instructed to continue to comply with the following requirements:

A ban on holding and participating in mass events, including family, commemorative events, including at home (banquets, weddings, anniversaries, commemorations, etc.), as well as the organization and holding of festive corporate events, rallies, processions, gatherings.

A ban on visiting facilities whose activities have not been resumed: bowling centers, computer clubs (with the exception of facilities participating in the Ashyq pilot project), cinemas, movie rooms, billiard rooms, karaoke, trampolines, nightclubs, bookmakers and gaming clubs, including drawing of lotteries, playgrounds and attractions in enclosed spaces, including ice- and roller-skating rinks, with the exception of those located in sports facilities.

When visiting public places, including urban public transport, and objects whose activities are permitted, as well as when in public places in the open air (except for children under 5 years of age and when playing sports in the open air), strictly observe the requirements for wearing masks, keeping distance and using antiseptics.

The resolution comes into force from 00:00 on 18 March 2021.
