The first qualification rounds were held in Nukus, Khorezm, Bukhara and Navoi. Some 177 children became winners of the qualification rounds to book their place in Final of the contest.
The festival is organized by Fund Forum and Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi” at the support of Children Organization “Kamalak: and Ministry of Public Education. In nine years, some 128,000 children participated at the festival.
The organizers said that 45 children out of 2,354 qualified to final stage of qualification round in Karakalpakstan, 44 out of 2,734 in Khorezm region and 43 children out of 2,074 in Bukhara region, as well as 45 children out of 1,554 in Navoi region.
All qualification round are open for public, which will ensure transparency of selection. In line with rules, no phonogram can be used. Winners of the qualification rounds will participate in the final round, which will be held in Tashkent.
The organizers added that this year, over 30,128 boys and girls submitted their applications to participate in the festival.
