Institute on studying civil society and National Association of NGOs of Uzbekistan (NANGOs) organized the event. The event was aimed at further boosting activity of NGOs in construction of civil society and development of recommendations on further improving of the civil institutes.

Specialists discussed issues of developing civil society in Uzbekistan and its further improvement, participation of public organization in increasing political culture and social activity of the citizens. They also reviewed priority tasks of NANGOs in developing civil society and participation of civil society in implementation of the state programme “The Year of Harmonically Developed Generation”.

It was said that NGOs should consolidate further within the NANGOs to solve actual tasks of developing NGOs and their international relations.

Participants also considered further developing legislative base on activity of civil and public institutes, NGOs to improve their activity on protecting interest of the public.
