The credit line will be used to finance supply of European equipment for small and medium businesses of Uzbekistan. The credit line is issued under insurance coverage of Export-Credit Agency of Germany.
In line with the credit line terms, debtor should provide at least 15% of project cost, while the credit line will cover other 85%. The sum of one credit to finance export should be at least 500,000 euros.
Interest rate on credits set at six month rate of Libor/Euribor plus commission of Qishloq Qurilish Bank and Commerzbank, as well as insurance premium of Export-Credit Agency of Germany.
Qishloq Qurilish Bank was founded at the end of March 2009 in line with the resolution of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov through reorganization of Galla Bank. The announced charter capital is 150 billion soums. The share of the government in the bank is 77%. Galla Bank was founded in 1994 to credit enterprises of grain industry.
