Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbek diplomats held talks with the Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Culture of Qatar Nasir Al-Malik, Dunyo news agency reported.

The issues of holding the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Qatar, as well as further expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture and art, were discussed.

The representative of the Ministry of Culture noted that close friendly ties and constant dialogue between the leaders of the two countries play a big role and give new impetus to bilateral relations. Nasir Al-Malik also expressed gratitude for the effective negotiations with officials of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan during the visit of the delegation of the department he represents to our country in December 2023.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to hold the Week of Culture, Crafts and Tourism of Uzbekistan at a high level on 24-29 February in Doha, and to organize Days of Qatari Culture in our country in the second half of this year with the participation of Qatari artists.
