Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Feruza Makhmudova held a meeting with President of the Israel Manufacturers Association Ron Tomer, Dunyo news agency reported.

It should be noted that the Israel Manufacturers Association was founded in 1921 and unites more than 2,000 different associations and enterprises (90% of the state's industry). The organization consists of the departments of economics, labor, foreign trade and public relations, finance and communications. The main internal partners of the association are the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Israel and the Institute for Export and International Cooperation.

During the conversation, the main attention was paid to establishing cooperation in the fields of electrical engineering, chemistry and pharmaceuticals, which are promising for the two countries.

An agreement was also reached on the development of an appropriate document on the implementation of temporary labor activities in Israel by qualified workers of Uzbekistan.

According to the Israeli side, in order to get acquainted with the wide industrial potential and leading manufacturing enterprises of our country, a delegation of the Israeli Manufacturers Association plans to visit Uzbekistan in the near future.
