Projects Worth US$6.8 Billion to Be Launched in Samarkand Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Measures aimed at the socio-economic development of Samarkand region until 2030 have been approved.
The President signed a resolution “On Measures for the Socio-Economic Development of Samarkand Region until 2030.”
The document envisages achieving several key targets by 2030:
In accordance with the resolution, a joint-stock company, Samarkand Invest Company, will be established under the Samarkand regional hokimiyat, serving as a link between government bodies and the entrepreneurial sector.
The founder of the company is tasked with determining the procedure for creating project offices in specific areas, as well as the sources of their funding.
