Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution "On further support for the participation of citizens in the processes of channeling funds from the district and city budgets to events formed on the basis of public opinion" was adopted.

According to the resolution, an additional 85.4 billion soums will be allocated for the implementation of 139 projects, each of which received more than 2,000 votes, but was not declared the winner in the initiative budgeting processes.

According to the resolution, khokims publish monthly reports on the financing and implementation of initiative budget measures with the participation of media representatives.

For information, following the results of the initiative budgeting process held in the first quarter of 2022, 2,215 projects put forward by citizens were recognized as winners, for the implementation of which 1.1 trillion soums were allocated.
