Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Investment projects worth US$124.6 million will be implemented in Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city in 2018, of which US$57 million are direct foreign investments.
According to the press service of Mirzo Ulugbek district, investment projects are being implemented at 15 enterprises.
As of 20 August 2018, the volume of used foreign direct investment amounted to US$56.8 million. The attracted investments are mainly from Great Britain, China and Turkey.
In particular, AKFA FOOD LINE will invest US$62 million in a project to create capacities for production of confectionery products. Within the framework of this project, investments of US$36.6 million have been used and equipment installation works are in progress.
