Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 July, a meeting was held in the innovative research and production pharmaceutical cluster "Tashkent Pharma Park" under the leadership of the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov, during which the implementation of the instructions set by the Head of the states to accelerate the implementation of projects and promising tasks in the pharmaceutical industry.

The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Ministry, the pharmaceutical cluster and the Directorate for its development, the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency under MIPT and Asakabank JSC.

During the meeting, the progress of work on the construction of investment facilities by domestic and foreign investors on the territory of the cluster and the industrial zone was studied. The reports of responsible managers on the work done, in particular, on accelerating the construction of the Research Center and the educational building of the Pharmaceutical Technical University on the territory of the cluster, were heard. Responsible persons were warned about personal responsibility for the quality and timely execution of the tasks.

Instructions were given to conduct daily monitoring of the compliance of the project implementation with the approved schedules, to use the necessary resources in a timely manner to accelerate the commissioning of facilities.

Tashkent Pharma Park is the first pharmaceutical cluster in Uzbekistan. It is planned to implement a number of projects on its territory, including the construction of research, administrative and production facilities on the territory of 130.0 hectares, more than 90 of which are an industrial zone for the production of pharmaceutical products.
