Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — South Korean company AHA Co., Ltd. plans to set up production of smart boards for schools and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the Ferghana region, according to the press service of the regional administration.
A memorandum for the establishment of the enterprise was signed between the Khokim (Governor) of Ferghana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, and the CEO of AHA Co., Ltd, Koo Gi-Do.
The Ferghana region delegation, led by the Khokim, visited AHA Co., Ltd. during their trip to South Korea, where several meetings were held.
Founded in 1995, AHA Co., Ltd. specializes in technologies in education (EdTech), healthcare, and electric vehicle charging equipment. The company currently operates international branches in Japan, Germany, Kazakhstan, and the United States, with a market capitalization of US$28.88 million and total sales revenue of US$55.9 million as of 2024.
Koo Gi-Do, the CEO of AHA Co., Ltd., discussed the company’s activities and presented information on its modern production lines and products. He expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan.
Ferghana region Khokim Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that all necessary conditions will be created for the implementation of these projects in Ferghana and confirmed his readiness for cooperation.
Special attention was given to the investment opportunities in Uzbekistan, with the participation of leaders from the Kimp’o and Goyang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which represent more than 20,000 entrepreneurs.
The delegation also visited an exhibition of the company’s products.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with AHA Co., Ltd. to produce smart boards for schools and electric vehicle charging stations in Ferghana region.
