Private Kindergarten Teacher in Almalyk Beats Child — Investigation Launched
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 July 2025, reports surfaced on social media regarding an incident of child abuse that occurred at a private preschool in the city of Almalyk. The National Agency for Social Protection has issued an official statement on the matter.
According to the information received, on 17 July, a woman identified as R.M.M. contacted law enforcement by calling the emergency number "102" and reported that her daughter, M.O.M., had been physically assaulted at the private kindergarten Neo Kids. The complaint stated that the child had visible swelling and bruises on her face.
That same day, a special task force composed of representatives from the police, local mahalla authorities, the social sector, and the education system visited the preschool. As a result of the inspection, it was confirmed that on 16 July, a teacher identified as K.G.M. had indeed used physical force against the minor M.O.M., causing her bodily harm.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into the incident. A forensic medical examination has been ordered, and all necessary actions are being taken in accordance with current legislation.
The National Agency for Social Protection urges all citizens: if you become aware of any instances of violence or other unlawful acts against children, immediately report them to law enforcement by calling 102, or contact your local Inson Social Services Center.
