Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.

During the conversation, the focus was on expanding cooperation between the two countries in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as establishing inter-parliamentary relations.

During the dialogue, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation between parliaments as a practical step in intensifying interstate relations.

An agreement was reached to establish a systematic and effective dialogue between the Oliy Majlis and the House of Representatives of Cyprus at all levels, as well as to establish constructive interaction within the framework of international parliamentary structures.
